Fall is my favorite time of year, except for the fact that winter is just around the corner. We heard that storms were coming so we knew it might be our last chance to go see the fall leaves, we were almost too late. We decided to take a drive up Francis Peak before the predicted snow coming in the mountains over the weekend. It was a perfect day!
The words to my favorite hymn came to mind as I prepared this post.

When thru the woods and forest glades I wander, And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees,
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze,
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee, How great thou art! How great thou art!
