On line General Confence book club

Elder Holland's talk is the first talk of the online book club started by Stephanie. If you are interested in participating you may leave comments here or there. It give us each a chance to read and reread the talks. I loved Elder Hollands talk so much and as I read this talk this morning it brought tears to my eyes thinking about the many people in this church doing all the good things they do. Those struggling with there own struggles and trials serving me and my family. I think of the gratitude I feel for kind and simple acts given to me and my family. I think of how grateful I am for the leaders of our church that pray for us and to know my Heavenly Father knows me individually. That through Elder Holland the very angels of heaven speak to us. I loved the following quote from his talk:

"In that spirit my message today is to say that we sustain you, that we return to you those same heartfelt prayers and that same expression of love. We all know there are special keys, covenants, and responsibilities given to the presiding officers of the Church, but we also know that the Church draws incomparable strength, a truly unique vitality, from the faith and devotion of every member of this Church, whoever you may be. In whatever country you live, however young or inadequate you feel, or however aged or limited you see yourself as being, I testify you are individually loved of God, you are central to the meaning of His work, and you are cherished and prayed for by the presiding officers of His Church. The personal value, the sacred splendor of every one of you, is the very reason there is a plan for salvation and exaltation."

I hope and pray that you will study the talk and use them in your everyday lives, I know I am going to. Thanks Steph for starting the club, it has and will bless my life.
