Yipee!!!

In a few short hours we will be picking Josh up at the airport. He has served for 2 months and one day in Afghanistan. Man have I missed him! I know it could be worse since many serve for a year or more, but your heart is never quite whole when someone you love is in harms way.

 I guess it was meant to be for Josh to join the military. He wore this jacket he loved for school pictures when he was in kindergarten (even when I wanted him to remove it to show his nice shirt underneath it! Lol!).



Here is a picture of him with his grandpa's and uncle who are all veterans, my brother Bob is missing from the photo and he is a veteran as well.

Josh's grandpa on the far left, front row, passed away while Josh was serving. That was so sad, Josh loves his grandpa's!!!
