80th Birthday party for the Father in Law

We had the opportunity Sunday evening to celebrate my father in law Art's 80th Birthday.

This is Art and his children from the left KayLynne, my hubby Scott, Cherylanne, and Michelle.

On the right Art is talking on the phone to my son Josh in the Air Force stationed in Texas, who was unable to attend.

Art was a builder by trade. Of what you might ask of which I would reply everything (homes, boats, dressers, blanket racks, planter boxes,ect.)

He loves his granchildren and great grandchildren and they love to be at his house and on his lap.

I like this saying about family.

Families are like fudge ... mostly sweet with a few nuts. That describes us and we like it that way!!!

Our relationships will be the only thing we can take with us after this life is over and I want to be with these people and those that didn't make it to the party FOREVER!!!
