A Tribute to Father's

Father's Day is fast approaching so I thought I better write something about the Father's in my life:

This is my Dad.


We will celebrate my Dad's 85th birthday this year shortly after Father's Day. He has got to be the healthiest guy I know. Nothing seems to slow him down. He enjoys bowling, golfing and spending time with his grandkids. My Mom and Dad were parents to 5 children, I'm the second youngest. My parents divorced when I was about 10 years old and he remarried my step Mom Darlene and together they had 2 children.

He loves and supports his 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren (I'm bad a keeping track, I hope that's right).

When he was younger he loved to hunt, fish, water ski and snow ski as well. He still enjoyed those things well into his 70's. My dad used to love to go on long drives and I have fond memories of going on road trips with him. Scott can never understand why I like to go on long drives. My Dad served in the Air Force as his grandson after him is now! He is always there when I need him most, he is kind and generous and I love him.
