Jeepin'

Well, we went and did it! We had to go on a road trip to try out the new motor home and the jeep to decide if we are going to keep it or sell it (the jeep). We got a really good price on it as I mentioned before with less than 3000 miles on it. We towed it behind the MH and headed out to my favorite destination.............Arches National Park in Moab, Ut on Thursday afternoon. If you have never been to Arches you are really missing something. Pack up now and go before the rush and the heat!

Friday we were able to go into the back country of Arches which we had done once before a long time ago and have been dieing to do again. The road were extremely rough but way exciting! The Jeep was incredibly fun to ride in.

As we were on the hike from H--- (5 miles up hill both ways literally and NOT my idea!), I heard this strange rattling sound and looked over to my right just off the trail to see this!!!

Thanks for the warning little rattlesnake!

Then on Saturday we went into Canyonlands to the overlook and 4 wheeling along Shaffer Trail towards the white rim.

Here are the switch backs and you can see the trail way down there in the bottom!!!

Landscape Arch at the bottom was well worth all the bumps along the way!

We heard from the ranger that someone drove a jeep across this arch once, insane!!!

On Sunday we attended church in Moab. Scott was shocked to see the Bishop wearing a mustache and one of his counselors with a full beard and mustache. That would never fly in our Stake for sure! What is it with men and their facial hair anyway?

After church we drove to see the Petroglyphs. They were awesome! Then headed for home.

We will probably keep the Jeep for now and we have been tossing around keeping my little bug too. I love my bug!!! And the Jeep!
