Spring has finally sprung!

I know I have been a slacker again at blogging but know this... I haven't been slacking in my duties as a wife and mother. I have been busy helping our daughter paint and move into a new home (new for her any how!). We also sold our old MH (aka motor home) as well. We owned it for 15 years and used it a lot, but it was time for something else. So we took the advice from my sis in law to take some glamour shots (well I did! Not Scott as you can tell from his dressed up appearance!) before it drove away never to be seen again. We will miss it and it served us well with the 4 kiddos. A nice lady bought it and will give it a good home.

Mother's Day was the best!!! All my children came over to visit and they were even bearing gifts. Here are few shots of my daughters 2 dogs, Aaron and his girlfriend and her little boy,

and Josh monkeying around literally!!
Elder Jacobson made his last phone call from the mission field that day as well. He really does want to stay for another month but the answer to his pleading is NO! He will be home June 28th as originally planned. We are soooo excited for his return!!!

May 13th, my friends 54th birthday we went on our annual 50 mile bike ride. With the crazy spring we have had there was no time to get in shape for this ride and I wondered if I might not be up for it. About the 43rd mile I was thinking I might not, but I persevered and continued on. The speedometer registered in at 51 miles when all was said and done. Next year I will be training in the snow if I have too! We had a great time but still have to sit down ever so carefully 5 days later. That's a bummer literally!!!

These are a few photos of the beautiful spring flowers in my yard and my neighbors sea of tulips that I see from my sliding glass door every day. Simply gorgeous don't ya think?

Our newly planted garden too!

Gotta just love springtime and all the adventures it brings and the work right? I hope you are enjoying yours too!

Okay, I had to skip the Lost post in case something was given away. :) Way to go on your bike ride. 51 miles is amazing! Your yard was looking so pretty before all this white stuff came and covered it up.
