What is it about fall? Why do I love it when I know winter is just around the corner? Maybe because everything looks so colorful and bright. Our beautiful green trees turn yellow, red and vivid orange over night practically. Is it because the air turns cooler? I know it can't be because it gets dark so early.
It couldn't 
be because all the leaves fall from the trees and I have to rake them all up, but not before I let the neighbor kids play in them of course. It is my second favorite season (summer, fall, spring and last but definitely least, winter).

ybe it is because I know Halloween is coming. I know I'm old now and should have out grown it, but I have always loved Halloween. When the kids were growing up it was my tradition to dress up with them. They would dress up for school and it was just so darn contagious. That was until my daughter was asked by her teacher the year she started first grade to describe her 
mother and then draw a picture of her. She began by writing that her mom has long curly black hair with a long nose and a pointy chin. The picture looked exactly like a witch with the green face and all. I think that was the year I quit perming my hair, cut it short and have never turned back!!

I agree. I noticed just tonight as I was driving up the street how vibrant all of the colors on the trees are. It looks amazing!
I hope you guys have a great time on your vacation! We will be thinking about you and wishing we were there too experience it too. It is on our bucket list.
