I took this picture a few days ago of the mountains behind my neighborhood. I really am NOT looking forward to winter but this sight was amazing to me! It was still September and I truly hope it isn't a sign of an early and long winter. The contrast between the colorful fall leaves and the snow was gorgeous. I do love the four seasons and feel so blessed to live where I do. I keep telling my hubby we might need to get a winter home in Arizona because the snow and cold isn't my fav but not yet I suppose. We do want to serve an LDS mission in about 10 years so we will keep our fingers crossed we go some place warm year round!

I agree. I almost posted the exact same thing. We love where we live. There just isn't anything like it.
I took the same picture too. It was beautiful! The fall colors with a little snow topping. Wonderful. Gotta love the mountains of Utah. Even though I hate the cold also!
I was thinking the same thing this morning as I was driving down the hill. Beautiful fall colored leaves, snow on the mountains, it's raining, then hailing. When I came home the clouds were parting to show a beautiful blue sky and the sun shining. Where else can you have it all? :)
A winter home in AZ would be nice! We do live in a beautiful area.
