We were given the opportunity to experience Lake Powell like we never have before. We were invited with 5 other couples from our ward and neighborhood to go stay on a house boat. We usually take our motorhome and park it on a beach at the other end of the lake. We absolutely had a great time! Not having to chase the sun to get back to our beach was refreshing. We were able to go with people we have known a long while but not so up close and personal as living together in a boat for 6 days. I have grown to love and admire each one in a whole new way.
We took 3 other boats with us for skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, air chairing and touring.
Some couples had never been to Powell before and some had never been exploring the canyons so we enjoyed showing them around some of
our personal favorites.
Like Rainbow bridge and the Escalante (Davis canyon).
Cathedral Canyon and the narrows where the boats can barely fit through.

Even our boat experienced something new, being towed behind the houseboat on the way back.

ways loosing his cup so to send him off we made sure he could find it!!!
We are so blessed to have such a beautiful place to visit and good friends to enjoy it with. Our Heavenly Father has provided us with so many gorgeous creations in this world and I love seeing them. If you have never been and get the chance, DO IT!! I don't think you will regret it. A special thanks to my 2 great adult kids for taking care of the dog, I'm glad she is still alive!
