We flew into Seattle on Friday morning the 23rd. My son and daughter Ben and Stacy, flew in first, then my SIL Kay Lynne from Phoenix arrived, then Scott, me, SIL Michelle, SIL Cherylanne, her husband Wayne and son Braxton, all arrived together. We took a drive up to Poulsbo, Washington.We drove around in 3 rental cars and it felt like we were in the movie "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, World". It was difficult to get us all in the same place at the same time, but fun too.

After visiting Poulsbo and riding a ferry back to Seattle we went to my soon to be daughter in laws parent's home for a barbecue dinner. It was delish and fun to meet some of the extended family and try to set up some for the next days festivities. Here are just some random pictures from the evening. They have such a beautiful yard and had set up a huge tent for the wedding .

Friday night Josh came with us to stay at our hotel before the Saturday wedding. He and his siblings shared a room and seemed to really enjoy this bonding time. It was so fun to hear them laughing in the adjoining room into the wee morning hour. The wedding was at noon so we enjoyed a relaxing morning before.
The temple ceremony was so incredible. The sealer who sealed my son and his beautiful bride together for time and all eternity was amazing and I enjoyed listening to him. He gave us such hope for the future of our families that I cried like a baby. I felt my mother there, who had died in 2006, to witness this marriage of her first grandson to be married in the House of the Lord!! It was amazing to look into the mirror and see her by my side.

I love seeing all the wedding pictures. We were thinking about you guys all weekend. BTW, I'm still planning on helping Friday. But... I think I need more jobs. Please let me know what else I can do. I'm always out and about so I would love to pick things up for you if that would help. However, any task would be great. We are so excited for your family!
You look pretty in your red dress! I haven't seen Stacy forever. She, too, looks great. What a fun day.
