Do you BELIEVE?

Do you believe in a loving Heavenly Father and in His Son Jesus Christ? Do you believe in personal revelation through the Holy Ghost? Do you believe that through sincere fasting and fervent prayer, you will receive the blessing you seek (in His time not yours)? Do you believe that Father loves you enough to answer your prayers and pleadings? I DO!

Our trial isn't over but it has become bearable. This week the tender mercies of the Lord were poured out upon our family and most especially our son whose trial this really is!! But as parents, we suffer right along with our children.

Tuesday was a huge day and I went in fasting and prayer to my temple shift as usual, with a heavy heart. As I went about my day there were several instances that confirmed to me that what I was praying, fasting and seeking was possible. One was scripture that I randomly opened to in a quiet moment, one by words spoken to me, one by putting me in the right place at the right time by my supervisor. Then the biggie......... around 3ish I received personal and sacred revelation from my Father that filled my whole soul with light and an assurance that things wouldn't be as bad as I thought they would. I will not share in detail because it is too sacred to talk about, just know that you too can receive answers and blessings by keeping your covenants, trusting in our Savior, in service to His children, in prayer and fasting, and waiting (sometimes for a long time) for the Lord to reveal His will to you.

I prayed many times "help thou my unbelief" and He did. I will never doubt again! None of these things can be explained away as coincidence or random events. They were real, they were humbling and they have forever changed me.

Things will still be hard, they haven't been taken away but the burden has been made lighter. I know that we can get through anything relying upon our Savior and Redeemer.
