I haven't posted anything in like a week and a half! Unheard of! I have mentioned in previous years about my lack of love for January and maybe I have let it slip that I REALLY HATE WINTER!!!!!!!!!! Don't tell anyone, K?





Here is a list of the recent happenings in our life since the New Year.

*We still have our trial, well mostly our son has it but it affects us too. It is so hard to separate yourself from your offspring and what hurts them hurts you.

* Our youngest son moved out after Christmas to have a life of his own on campus at the University he attends. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this improves his social life like he keeps telling me it will! He will also begin his indoor track life this weekend and hopefully we can attend.

* middle son is in a new relationship and we think she is awesome. Mostly because she really likes our son with his quirky sense of humor.

* Hubby and I now that we are empty nesters again have become hooked on the Biggest Loser. Every Tuesday we are glued to the TV or are recording it to watch later. So, one night a week we refrain from eating snacks while we watching TV! It just seems wrong for some reason :o).

* Hubby and I went to see a movie the other night and were told we could get in with a discount since it was Senior Citizen discount night!! Dang I was sure I didn't look that old yet! But we took it, of course.

* I have convinced my dear hubby to take me away from this weather and our struggles for a few days, Yea!! Daytona Beach Florida, here we come. We also have friends going and that is icing on the cake.

* We have been to one Jazz game and have another today to go to. GO JAZZ!!

* I am still teaching in primary and love this little 4 year old class, even though they have the attentions span of a high priest in sacrament meeting! But they love crafts, so that is what I have resorted too.

* I still work at the temple and LOVE it. We are looking forward to those who attend the Ogden Temple currently to come to our temple when Ogden closes for remodeling in April. We aren't real sure how we are going to accommodate the increase in patrons, so be patient with us.

This is my life for now but, it is mine. There is a time for every purpose and I get through day by day with the help of my Savior. I rely on Him and put my trust in Him. I hope you all have the happiest of New Year's this year.
