Christmas card

Well I did it this year, I left my grown children OFF the card. They have been begging me for a few years now and I finally cut the strings. We had a vacation this year I have been trying to blog about and we had this picture taken. So I figured this should be our Christmas card photo. So for those of you out there in blogville this is to wish you a very Merry Christmas as well since I probably don't have your address. This December has been marked by some really sad things and has put me way behind in my shopping but I feel at peace and know that Christmas will come even without out the usual temporal gifts. The spiritual gifts are the truly lasting gifts. I am looking forward to celebrating the birth of my Savior, remembering His life, His ministry, His atonement, crucifixion and glorious resurrection. Family seems just a little more important to me this year as well, even though they aren't on the card, they are the most precious gift I have ever received. Merry Christmas!!

Cute card...Love the photo. You guys are a cute couple. I'm with ya though, I think it'd be hard to eliminated the kids from the card. Hope you have a good Christmas and a great Birthday this week.
