Hope in the coming Spring!

Scott and I took a drive Saturday into the mountains and this is the some of the gorgeous views we saw.
Not too much snow left but enough to remind of us of how beautiful winter truly is.
Then this week we have had some wonderful warmer temps and I couldn't resist being out there to rake up some leaves and to soak up some of the rays of the sun. I was delighted to see some of this coming up through the soil.

Spring really will come again! I can hardly wait!!!

My favorite hymn kept popping into my head as I have enjoyed these sights, "How Great thou art". Especially this verse "When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur and hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze, Then sings my soul my Savior God, to thee, How great thou art! How great thou art!" I'm so grateful to a loving Father who prepares this wondrous world for us to enjoy in our sojourn here. Hope has been restored to my soul in the coming spring!!

I know... I too can feel it coming. When I saw you in the yard the other day, I wanted to get out there and join you. I always feel gung ho about my yard in the spring. And then.... about the end of June, I'm over it. :) That's when I want to hire the gardener.

I think that song is perfect for you, especially because you can or soon will hear the brook. We sure live in a great place.

Oh, I am so excited for spring. I just spotted my tulips and daffodils coming up. It's really the only saving grace for my wreck of a yard. :)

I love that song also. Nature really is such a reminder of the greatness of God.
