Christmas time!

I wasn't really going to blog about Christmas this last year but when my husband gave me this wonderful gift, how could I not?

He made my blog that I have invested so much time into for the last 2 years into a blog book. Without my asking for it even!! What a great guy I have.So here goes the shining moments of December in between all the sadness and tragedy.

Every Christmas we get together to decorate gingerbread houses. We go to my Step dad's house and meet my brother Steve and his family there and have pizza too! We have such a good time being together. This is Gavin my brother's grandson decorating gingerbread men.

Another bright spot came the day we laid my dear friend JoAnn to rest. That evening we rushed to Salt Lake to go with my sister in law to the Temple for the first time. We have looked forward to this day for quite awhile and it was really a special day and I was glad we could join her.

The following day was Christmas Eve where we get together with Scott's family for our traditional Italian dinner and games.

Christmas morning was pretty quiet with just Scott, Josh and I but we really loved it any way. Aaron and Stacy came later to talk to the missionary brother around noon.

I really need to thank Scott for putting Christmas together for me this year, without him there would have truly been "Nothin' for Christmas".

Wow Scott! I'm impressed. What a great gift! We love our books. Our kids love to look through them and remember events during the passed year.

I also love your village by your Christmas tree. Great minds think alike! :)

I bet it was wonderful to talk with Ben again! Mother's Day probably can't come too soon. I love that Scott made you your blog book. Wish I could convince someone to make mine for me. Hating every minute of it. :)
